How can I use these reflections?

As a member, you will be able to use the reflections in a variety of ways. You get to choose, as long as you comply with our Simple Licensing Policy and do not post them online except when embedded in a parish bulletin or newsletter.

Most use the reflections in their parish bulletin, either as an insert, printed as a page, or copied-and-pasted into the file before printing. A Parish-wide All Access Membership will include unlimited printing of the reflections, so feel free to get creative:

Bulletin Reflections
Bulletin Inserts
Handouts
Study Groups
RCIA/OCIA
Faith Formation Classes
Catholic Schools
Homeschool
Vacation Bible School
And More!

How do I access my reflections once I sign up for membership?

After you sign up, please allow 1-2 business days for us to email you with account registration instructions. If you don’t receive the email, first check your spam or junk folder and then contact us if you don’t see it.

After you register your account and are approved, log in to your account and you will automatically be directed to the Sunday Reflections – Member Portal page, where you can download your content by clicking on the download links. If you are already logged in, visit the Sunday Reflections page at catholicdr.com/member-portal.

Once you click the download links, the files will be saved to your device, usually in the Downloads folder. Alternatively, you can right click (or control+click on a Mac) and choose “Save link as” to choose where to save your content.

I can’t use these in my bulletin. How else can I use the reflections?

One option is to print these out and place them in your narthex or gathering area for people to pick up on their way out of Mass. You can also use them as group study material for RCIA/OCIA, faith formation classes, vacation Bible school, Spanish ministries, or Catholic schools.

Don’t forget, a Parish-wide All Access Membership includes a license for unlimited printing for your parish, so feel free to get creative in how you use them. Does your parish have an agency for helping the poor in your community? Maybe they could use the inspiration, too.

Who can sign up for membership?

The short answer is: anyone! We typically serve Catholic parishes, but membership is open to anyone who wants to use our materials. Those who tend to sign up are priests, deacons, bulletin editors, religious education directors, parish secretaries, Spanish ministry coordinators, ministry/bible study leaders, or Catholic school administrators.

If you want to sign up for a membership to access our reflections for non-parish use – like for a homeschool group, your own Bible study group, or even just for yourself! – you are also welcome here. We only ask that you do not share the reflections beyond a single parish or group, depending on your particular membership tier and licensing. Please contact us if you want to request special permission for any other type of use not listed here.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes! Please reach out to us directly to request a free trial of membership.

Can I see samples of the reflections before signing up?

Yes! We have samples of the pre-designed inserts available on our website.

What is your licensing policy?

Generally, it says that your membership is for unlimited printing for one parish; however, the Small Group Study Materials booklets are intended for small groups only and are not authorized for wide distribution. Please do not share our content online, except when it’s embedded in your parish bulletin or newsletter. See our Simple Licensing Policy for more details.

Can I share membership content online?

Per our simple licensing policy, we require that you do not share the reflections online unless they’re embedded in your parish bulletin or newsletter. This prevents potential theft of our intellectual property by online scammers. Thank you for doing your part to help and protect us!

Can I use membership content for more than one parish?

A membership license is for one parish only, per our Simple Licensing Policy, however, Parish-wide All Access Members have a license for unlimited printing, so feel free to use your membership resources for multiple ministries. If you serve more than one parish and want to make a special request, please contact us and we will consider it.

Please do not share the reflections beyond your parish or online (outside of your parish bulletin or newsletter) without special written permission from us. Thank you for helping to protect our intellectual property!

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the digital nature of our content, our general policy is not to offer refunds. However, please reach out to us if you have any issues and we will do our best to resolve them and decide on a case-by-case basis if a refund would be appropriate.

I don’t have room for these in my bulletin anymore. How else can I use these reflections?

One option is to print these out and place them in your narthex or gathering area for people to pick up on their way out of Mass. You can also use them as group study material for RCIA/OCIA, faith formation classes, vacation Bible school, Spanish ministries, or Catholic schools.

I haven’t been getting the reflections emailed to me anymore. Why?

We no longer provide the reflections via email because our emails were getting sent to spam/junk folders and, sadly, we have very little control over that problem. Spam filters are constantly evolving to prevent scammers from getting to you.

We built this portal so that you can easily log in and download your reflections at any time after they are published on the 15th of each month. You no longer have to wait to hear from us. Just bookmark the page/add it to your favorites, or remember to go to www.catholicdr.com/login, to log in each month.

We still send reminders at least once a month via our Mailchimp email account. If you’re not receiving those emails, there are a few things you can try: contact us to make sure we have the correct email address for you, add listadmin@catholicdr.com to your email contacts or whitelist (ask your IT/computer person for help, if needed), and check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes you can mark the email sender as “not junk”.

How do I cancel my membership?

We would be sorry to see you go! If you have any complaints, please contact us so we can try to make it right.

To cancel, you can either 1) log in to your PayPal account, navigate to your subscription, and cancel it, or 2) contact us and request that we cancel your membership.

Since memberships are pre-paid, you will continue to have access to your content until your membership ends and will not be charged to renew.

Beth Solis, a group facilitator in Oklahoma, says, "Our members asked us in the beginning if we minded taking things slowly so we could have time to really discuss each paragraph. We always have such great discussion! The PPT has been very helpful and is a nice addition."
