Discontinuing Reflections at End of 2024

Last week, we announced that we are starting a second company called Holy Road. We planned to keep the e-books and other one-time purchases on Catholic Digital Resources and move the Sunday reflections under our new company. After further prayer and discernment, there has been a change of plans. We are ending our reflection service as of December 2024.

We were honored to be chosen to take on this company by the founder, author and speaker Terry Modica of Good News Ministries, in January 2023. She hoped that we would learn from it, and we have learned a great deal that we will take into our future endeavors. Unfortunately, we have not been able to grow this company enough for it to be sustainable.

The reflections require a significant amount of time and money to produce each month, as does marketing, graphic design, web design, and managing social media. As a married couple with two small children and full-time day jobs, we’ve decided it will be in the best interest of our family to end production of our reflections and see what else the Lord has in store for us.

What does this mean for you?

  • Those whose memberships extend beyond December will be reimbursed a pro-rated amount based on your remaining subscription period.
  • Those whose membership expires between now and December are encouraged to renew for the remainder of the year only via a pro-rated invoice that we will email to your parish contact.
  • The final issue of our reflections will be released on 11/15/2024 for the Sundays of December.

Thank you for supporting us these past couple of years, and for those who supported CDR long before we took over. We appreciate you!

Yours in Christ,

Beth Solis, a group facilitator in Oklahoma, says, "Our members asked us in the beginning if we minded taking things slowly so we could have time to really discuss each paragraph. We always have such great discussion! The PPT has been very helpful and is a nice addition."
