Description: For couples, dating or married. Radical Love: Reflections for Couples contains 215 short inspirational messages that bring God’s radical love into the context of romantic relationships. (228 printable PDF pages.)
Two private reflection questions at the end of each message will help you apply the messages to your everyday life and challenges. This is followed by ideas for discussing the topic as a couple to further integrate it into your relationship.
All couples will appreciate how this book empowers them to grow closer and to build a stronger future together. Dating couples will find that the conversations that spring from this book are helpful in discerning if they are right for each other. Engaged couples will find it very useful in preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage. Married couples will more deeply embrace what the Sacrament of Marriage really means.
This is perfect for couples who have been through Engaged Encounter or Marriage Encounter, but this is not a requirement. These reflections for couples will stir up in you and your sweetheart the exciting discovery of God’s plan for your marriage as you journey together with Jesus.
Marriage is meant to be a testimony of Christ’s radical love for His Bride: One man faithfully and permanently united to one woman in a living example of one Savior faithfully and permanently united to us.
When we embrace and rely on the presence of Jesus in this or any sacrament, we are empowered by his help to have the best possible relationship with our sweetheart. We are empowered to have the fullness of love that is only available in God’s plan for marriage.
Find a sacred time during the day to reflect the reflections in this book. It’s best if you read them alone and think about the reflection questions before getting together with your sweetheart to dialog about it, but figure out what works best for the two of you.
You may use these reflections in their page number order, or print them and pull them out of sequence according to the need of the day.
